About this file
This document is a cover letter and revised rate schedule submitted by AZTEC Engineering Group, Inc. to the Arizona Game and Fish Department for Archaeological Services under RFP No. 230036. The submission is dated October 23, 2023, and addresses a revised fee schedule for Cultural Resources and Archaeological Services, with changes highlighted in yellow.
The fee schedule includes detailed labor rates for 19 staff members across various archaeological and technical roles, with unburdened hourly rates ranging from $21.45 to $80.29. The document outlines unit-based costs and direct expenses for tasks such as research, curation, site recording, report preparation, and archaeological site investigations. Pricing varies based on project acreage and complexity, with specific rates for low and high-density research, site recording, and site summaries. Additional expenses include lodging, per diem, vehicle rental, fuel, and mileage, billed at current Arizona reimbursement rates. AZTEC notes that coordination and management typically constitute an additional 10% of the overall project cost, and direct expenses are billed at cost with no markup.
