Offeror Response:
Arizona Environmental Specialists (AES) is a small business privately owned by Rodney Hoffman III. AES has a reputation of offering reasonable costs at large company quality. AES was founded in 2007 and furnishes its clients with comprehensive asbestos, lead, and mold services from inspection to abatement management (project oversight). AES’s certified specialists perform building inspections, conduct air monitoring, analyze samples, develop asbestos removal specification, perform abatement project monitoring, as well as prepare Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plans.
AES is a consulting firm specializing in environmental, health and safety, and construction management.
With over 25 years of combined experience, AES offers an extensive background in environmental, safety, and construction management services.
AES’s personnel are trained under the requirements of the EPA in both lead and asbestos. Each employee in the field possess all Asbestos Hazard and Emergency Response Act (AHERA) certifications, and full documentation of each certification is provided in each client’s highly detailed report. Our specialists are often used as part of a team for performance of Environmental Site Assessments which an asbestos or lead survey is required. Our asbestos, lead, and mold personnel work throughout the State of Arizona performing asbestos, lead, and mold surveys and managing abatement projects.
AES’s full service approach towards asbestos, lead, and mold management is described in the sections which follow. This approach enables AES to efficiently assist clients in addressing the problems and liabilities associated with hazardous material identification, assessment, and removal.
Since inception, AES has been, and remains committed to the highest standards of Environmental, Safety and Occupation Health, and sustainability for overall client risk and liability reduction services. To date, AES has worked with a multitude of clients such as individual homeowners, to large fortune 500 companies such as Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, Thunderbird International School of Management, and State and
Federal agencies including Arizona State University and Luke Air Force Base (AFB). As a result, AES has developed a strong reputation within the asbestos, lead, and mold consulting industry for integrity with its clientele.
As and added value of service to its clients, AES offers onsite PCM sample reading by its NIOSH 587 PCM certified employees. This is not for all projects, but when the emergency response calls for a quick preliminary air clearance, AES can provide this added value onsite. This may allow tear down of a containment and provide the client the ability to reopen a space in a short amount of time. The PCM samples would also be sent to an independent laboratory for an additional reading for proper documentation and to ease any conflict of interest.
AES is conveniently centrally located in Tempe Arizona. Its proximity to the US- 60 and I-10 allows technicians to respond to the City of Phoenix with minutes notice. Each staff member is provided a company vehicle outfitted with all necessary tools to provide the COP necessary services. Staff members are able to respond to any City requests from there residents as well with all the resources needed to accomplish the task. As the founder and owner, born and raised in the State of Arizona, Rodney Hoffman has maintained a high success rate by providing these services to Arizona State business markets. Current clients within the state include Arizona State University, Luke
Air force Base and the University of Arizona. AES remains successful among these clients as the services offered are cost effective and of the highest in quality. AES serves its small residential clients in a way that doesn’t break the bank and offers cost effective asbestos, lead and mold testing. While AES is a company that doesn’t have huge overhead, it can meet the high demand needs of these clients. While serving small clients, AES is having great success meeting the personal needs of clients. With the same personal level of quality AES is able to effectively service clients as large as
Arizona State University. Providing ASU with short response times, cost effective sampling, and detailed reports has added to AES’s success at ASU over the past 10 years. Recently AES has provided inspection and oversight services on some of ASU’s biggest abatement jobs. AES has maintained a steady clientele ranging from all sizes and goes above and beyond its competitors when asbestos, lead, and mold services are needed. AES has been providing environmental consulting services for several clients within the industry, from large commercial to single family residences.
