About this file

Summary

This is a Statewide Natural Areas Management Work Order issued by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The work order serves as a task order mechanism under a statewide contract framework for natural areas management services. Vendors operating under the executed Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract receive individual work orders specifying particular projects and tasks to be completed.

The work order pertains to hand work in sensitive sites within Work Zone 1, though the specific project details, location, and funding information remain blank on this template document. Vendors must accept or decline the work order within 7 days of receipt by signing and returning the document. The vendor's compensation is calculated based on an hourly rate established in the statewide contract, multiplied by the number of hours specified for the particular work order. If a vendor declines, the next lowest bidder is offered the opportunity to accept or decline before IDNR reserves the right to rebid the work. All vendor onsite staff must meet experience requirements specified in the statewide contract language. Work must comply with Section 1 of the Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract regarding the description of supplies and services, with specific work details including herbicide type and application methods documented in the work order's description section.
