About this file

Summary

This is a Statewide Natural Areas Management Work Order issued by the Idaho Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The work order serves as an individual task assignment document under an existing Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract, requiring vendors to either accept or decline the work within seven days of receipt. If a vendor declines, IDNR offers the work to the next lowest bidder, and if no contract vendors accept, IDNR reserves the right to solicit bids from other vendors.

The work order specifies hand work services for sensitive sites in Work Zone 1, with all activities required to fall within the specifications of the Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract Language. The document identifies key project information including work location, fiscal year of funding, county, primary job coordinator contact information, project start and end dates, and maximum project cost. IDNR staff complete pricing calculations by documenting the vendor's hourly rate for the specific work item and work zone, multiplying by the number of hours required to establish the total project cost. All vendor onsite staff must meet experience requirements specified in the signed contract. The work order includes a detailed description section on page two where specific work details must be documented, such as herbicide type and application rates, treatment methods, required mortality rates, resulting stump heights, timing of treatments, vegetation species to be treated and avoided, and any other work specifications required by the contract language.
