About this file
Summary
This is a Statewide Natural Areas Management Work Order issued by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The work order serves as a task order mechanism under an existing Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract framework, through which IDNR assigns specific projects to pre-qualified vendors who have previously submitted bids and been awarded contract status.
The work order covers hand work at sensitive sites within Work Zone 1 and requires vendors to accept or decline the assignment within seven days of receipt. Compensation is calculated based on the vendor's contracted hourly rate multiplied by the number of hours required for the project, with the total project cost established by IDNR approval. All work must comply with the specifications outlined in Section 1 of the signed Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract, and vendor onsite staff must meet experience requirements defined in the contract specifications. The work order includes detailed project parameters such as site location, funding fiscal year, project timeline, and specific work requirements, which are documented on page two. If the assigned vendor declines the work order, IDNR offers the opportunity to the vendor with the next lowest bid, and reserves the right to rebid the work to other vendors if no contract vendors accept the assignment.
