Statewide Natural Areas Management Work Order

This is a work order template issued by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) under the Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract. The document serves as a mechanism for IDNR to assign specific work projects to qualified vendors who have been selected through a competitive bidding process and hold active contracts with the state.

The work order pertains to hand work on sensitive sites within designated work zones and requires vendors to accept or decline the assignment within seven days of receipt. Pricing is established on an hourly basis for the specific work item and zone, with the total project cost calculated by multiplying the vendor's hourly rate by the number of hours allocated. All work must comply with the specifications outlined in the underlying Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract, and vendor onsite staff must meet the experience requirements defined in the contract specifications. The document requires detailed work descriptions including herbicide types and rates, application methods, mortality rate requirements, stump heights, treatment timing, and identification of vegetation species to be treated and avoided. If a vendor declines the work order, IDNR reserves the right to offer the work to the next lowest bidder or rebid the project to alternative vendors. The document includes sections for IDNR approval, project timeline definition, and mandatory vendor acceptance or declination with signature.
