This is a service specification document for ASCO Power Services preventative maintenance solutions for power switching and controls equipment. ASCO Power Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASCO Power Technologies, LP, offers maintenance and support services for automatic transfer switches, engine control systems, switchgear, and monitoring systems used in backup and emergency power applications. The document outlines two preventative maintenance program options—Essential and Preferred—designed to ensure optimal performance and reliability of power switching and controls equipment. The service offerings include scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and industry standards, emergency service response with reduced pricing, comprehensive maintenance reporting, and equipment upgrade and modification services. ASCO Power Services maintains a network of more than 120 certified technicians across the country who receive continuous training on leading-edge equipment and adhere to strict safety protocols compliant with NFPA, OSHA, and NEC regulations.

The Essential Program includes scheduled maintenance, all labor and travel expenses for emergency service calls, reduced pricing on service parts, priority emergency response, reduced labor rates for additional services, and comprehensive reporting. The Preferred Program encompasses all Essential Program benefits plus replacement parts at no charge (with exclusions noted at quotation), custom solutions for system upgrades, and priority emergency service response. Both programs are designed to address the most common cause of transfer switch failure—lack of regular maintenance—and provide facilities with predictable budgeting for equipment service. ASCO Power Services can also survey existing systems and prepare proposals for upgrades ranging from simple component replacement to total control redesign, with the capability to install and test upgrades while maintaining full system functionality.
