Attachment 4:
FURNITURE SCOPE OF WORK
• The work outlined below will purchase and install new furniture to support Code 700 in Building 238. This will be in accordance with the requirements and workstation list below.
• A list of all installers will be required a minimum of 3 weeks before installation.
• This install is located on the first and second floor and there is a loading dock. Delivery to be coordinated with PNSY POC, Construction Manager and expected installation timeframe is Fall 2020.
• Attached drawings are conceptual and meant to show preferred layout, orientation and number of seats. Adjustments due to different manufacturer specifics should be kept to a minimum.
AutoCAD files can be provided however; final dimensions should be taken at the site visit.
• Quantities are per the drawing unless otherwise noted in this Scope of Work.

• Additional Electrical Specifications for Systems Furniture:
System Furniture generally constitutes a multi-wire branch circuit, and wiring and distribution shall be configured as such.
The UFC specifies 5-wire, and 8-wire branch circuit configurations.
• 5-wire should be used for general distribution of standard work station layouts. (3 circuits per cluster.)
• 8-wire should be used for standard workstation with a printer or copier module on the 4th circuit. (4 circuits per cluster.)
• There shall be no more than 4 work stations per branch circuit.
• Standards and Specifications:
Attachment 4 - Furniture/Locker SOW
UFC 3-520-01
Workstation Specifications:
1. Size of all Workstations:
a. Consult Drawing for all workstation sizes.
2. Panels and Face Tiles for Workstations:
a. Height to be 66” (min 63” max 69”) total. Bottom to be height of approximately 52” and top to be frosted glass, approximately 12 inches high, where applicable.
i. Cubicles along the exterior of the building will have no panels OR panels of maximum height of 42”. To not obstruct the window view/light and/or heat.
b. All panels, face tiles/skins to be sound dampening acoustical fabric.
c. Base, trim and top caps to be metal.
d. Electrical raceway at base of panel for power entry.
3. Panels and Face Tiles for MAIN AISLEWAYS (2nd Floor) :
a. Height to be 84” (min 78” max 90”) total. Top to be clear glass, approximately 12 inches high, where applicable.
b. All panels, face tiles/skins to be tackable sound dampening acoustical fabric.
4. Furniture for Workstations:
a. Work Surface will be panel supported/cantilevered surfaces, consisting of one rectangular surface. Size to be (6’L x 2'W) at a minimum and stretched to fit the space where applicable. At a minimum, work surface to be of a high pressure wood laminate material with cable pass-through.
b. Pencil drawer mounted under work surface.
c. One (4’L x 2’W) rectangular surface. At a minimum, to be of a high pressure wood laminate material with cable pass-through.
i. Sit/Stand Work surface:
1. Electric mechanism Moves 1.5" per second.
2. Height range: 25" - 50.5".
3. Supports up to 250lbs.
4. Computer Tower mounting tray below surface.
Cable tray/tracks for cable management.
5. Exceeds BIFMA Test criteria.
6. No visible crossbars
ii. Dual screen monitor stand mounted on each sit/stand worksurface.
1. Supports up to 2 LCD monitors (20”-27” monitors)
2. Desk-mountable with a clamp.
3. Pole length such that it makes it expandable to support 3 or 4 monitors.
4. Maximum adjustment rendered by tilting, swiveling, pivoting and dynamic height adjustment.
d. One (1) open shelf, approximately 36” wide (min. 36” max.
42”), secured to the wall panel.
e. Task lighting to consist of one (1) LED light strip, per overhead bin or shelf. Lighting and cords will be secured to the underside of said shelf by heavy duty magnet, sturdy clip and/or cord tracks.
f. One (1) D/D/F with one pencil tray insert (non-work surface supported) and one (1) F/F pedestals. One (1) pedestal to have casters and padded top. Pedestal height should maximized the space under the work surface.
g. All doors and drawers to be locking and keyed alike within each workstation.
5. Electrical/Data/Voice for Workstations:
a. Panels to have two (2) duplex receptacles provided at the base and two (2) at the desk surface/beltline [total of four (4) duplex receptacles to be provided]. At least one of the outlets at the beltline to have USB plug capability.
a. Workstation will have one (2) cat6 data cable (blue & green) and one (1) white cat6 voice cable. Data and voice cables should be terminated at the wall jack and whips/cables to each station. Whips/cables should have minimum 3’ of slack at each station.
6. Colors and Finishes:
a. All colors, finishes and/or materials to be selected by customer from vendor’s standard color options.
Computer Station Specifications:
These stations are shown without pedestals or overhead storage on the drawing and are worksurface only.
1. Size of all Workstations:
a. Consult Drawing for all sizes.
2. Panels and Face Tiles for Workstations:
a. Height to be 66” (min 63” max 69”) total. Bottom to be height of approximately 52” and top to be frosted glass, approximately 12 inches high, where applicable.

4. Electrical/Data/Voice for Stations:
a. Panels to have two (2) duplex receptacles provided at the base and two (2) at the desk surface/beltline [total of four (4) duplex receptacles to be provided]. At least one of the outlets at the beltline to have USB plugs.
Semi-Private Conference Room Specifications:
This area is on the second floor.
1. Panels and Face Tiles :
a. Height to be 84” (min 78” max 90”) total. Top half to be clear glass, approximately 30-48” inches high.
b. Remaining lower half of panels, face tiles/skins to be sound dampening acoustical fabric.
c. Base, trim and top caps to be metal.
d. Electrical raceway at base of panel for power entry.
2. Electrical:
a. Panels to have Four (4) duplex receptacles provided at the base. Two mounted inside the room and two outward facing.
3. Door
a. Sliding Door, Approximately 32” wide.
Private Office Specifications:
1. Private Office (first floor) Furniture:
a. Single Pedestal Rectangle desk (approximately 6’x3’) with
D/D/F pedestal.
i. Bridge (approximately 6’x2’) and back return
(approximately 6’x2’) with F/F pedestal.
ii. Work surfaces to have a minimum of one cable pass through(s) each.
iii. Back return to have overhead hutch with closable storage.
b. Lateral File/hutch. Approximately 36” wide
i. 3 drawers with bookcase above.
c. Conference Table
i. Approximately 3’ round shaped.
d. All locks keyed alike.
e. Desk will have one (2) data cable and one (1) voice cable.
f. Material to be metal and laminate finish. Colors, trim and finish to match workstations.
Multi-function rooms
1. Tables:
a. Two (2) tables dimension 3’x8’ rectangle.
b. Ten (10) tables dimension 42”x42” square.
c. One (1) 42” round.
d. Material to be a high pressure wood laminate material.
2. Instructor AV Cart
a. Quantity (1) Rolling carts with locking lower cabinet.
b. Overall dimensions to be approximately: 33" W x 24" D x
31-39" H
c. Cart is constructed of metal body and will have a slide out keyboard tray.
d. Lower cabinet is perforated to keep equipment cool.
Wire management grommets allow easy wire access.
3. Mobile Stackable Chairs:
a. Quantity (100), not all shown on drawing, nesting/stackable chairs with arms and caster feet.
b. Chairs to have hard vinyl seat and back and metal frames.

a. Quantity (One per desk) multi-purpose chairs.
b. Chairs will require casters suitable for the flooring in the area. (1st floor rubber flooring, 2nd floor carpet)
c. Chairs to have ergonomic features including;
i. Lumbar support with adjustable Mesh fabric backrest.
Backrest should have locking tilt back control
ii. Pneumatic seat height adjustment. Recommended range of 15” to 22” from the floor to seat pan
iii. Adjustable seat pan with adjustable tilt
iv. Five (5) caster feet with 360 degrees of swivel
(Casters should be appropriate for flooring type).
v. Adjustable arm & head rests; should be able to pivot or be detached from the chair if necessary to fit the workspace.
4. Expressing Room
a. Leather recliner. Standard size with high back.
b. Side table. Small end table. Approx. 24” tall, 12” wide and 12-18” long. Could be round or rectangle.
5. Locker Rooms
a. ADA Bench – one (1) per locker room.
i. Approximately 4’x2’
b. Lockers – Quantity per drawing.
i. Lockers to be at a minimum (similar to or approved equal to Spacesaver brand FreeStyle model) as follows:
ii. 18”-24” deep x 30” wide x approximately 81” tall.
Comprised of lower drawer with bench, where applicable, and standard locker above. Drawer approx.
12-16” tall, locker approx. 64”-69” tall. Drawer to automatically lock with the locker door.
iii. Top to have angle sheet metal to prevent storage above.
iv. Interior of locker portion to have
1. Two (2) shelves, one approximately 12-16” from the top and one approximately 12’16” from the bottom.
2. Minimum of three hooks.
v. Locker to have standard hasp lock options for pad lock.
6. Additional Miscellaneous:

i. 14 QT office waste can to be included at each work station/office
ii. Large trash receptacle (approximately 32 gallons or larger) with flapper door style cover
