7.2 In the event that the Fitness Center Director, or its designated representative, are unable to provide notification of postponement or cancellation at least 1.5 hours prior to the start of the game, the contractor is permitted to invoice/bill for the scheduled game.

Example 1: Contractor is notified at 1630 hours of the cancellation of 3 games scheduled that day with the first game starting at 1730 hours. Since the Government only provided a one-hour notice, the contractor would be permitted to invoice in full for the first game. The second and third game were cancelled with at least a 1.5 hours notice so therefore the games would be cancelled and no compensation provided.

Example 2: Contractor is notified at 1530 hours of the cancellation of the 3 scheduled games for that day with the first game scheduled to start at 1730 hours. Since the Government provided notification at least

1.5 hours prior to the start of the game(s), the games would be cancelled and no compensation provided.

7.3 In the event that a game is forfeited, the contractor is permitted to bill/invoice in full for that game.

However, if both team captains elect and there are enough players between the two teams to meet the minimum number of players for a game, the sports officials shall allow the teams to play and officiate the game as an unofficial contest. The sports officials shall use the scorebook to document the unofficial game noting that the actual game resulted in a forfeit.

Example: Team A vs Team B in basketball. Team A has 12 players while Team B only has 3 players.

Team A can loan Team B enough players in order to meet the minimum number of players required to play.

7.4 Weather Cancellations: In the event that a game is postponed/cancelled due to weather during the course of the game, the contractor is permitted to bill/invoice in full for that game being played. The Contractor is only permitted to invoice for games officiated. If it is necessary to postpone the remaining games that day, the contractor will not be compensated.

8. EQUIPMENT: The Government will provide all supplies and equipment necessary to play each sport. This will include the maintenance and repair of all playing fields/surfaces. The Government will also provide adequate lighting for all night games.
