About this file
This attachment document outlines pesticide business license and certified applicator license requirements for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's stormwater control measures maintenance contract in Delaware County, District 6-0. The file specifies that contractors performing pesticide applications as part of routine maintenance of stormwater control measures must maintain valid pesticide business licenses and employ certified applicators in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations. These licensing requirements ensure that any herbicide or pesticide treatments applied during SCM maintenance activities comply with state pesticide application standards and are administered by qualified, licensed personnel.
The document serves as a compliance verification attachment for bid submissions, requiring prospective contractors to demonstrate possession of appropriate pesticide licensing credentials before contract award. Contractors must provide evidence of current pesticide business licensure and maintain at least one certified applicator on staff capable of performing any pesticide-related maintenance tasks. This requirement protects environmental quality in stormwater systems and ensures adherence to Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture pesticide regulations throughout the contract term.
