About this file

This draft solicitation and attachments provide details for a potential workboat contract opportunity with the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command. The draft solicitation indicates the Navy is seeking industry feedback on a draft RFP and attachments for the procurement of Harbor Security Boats. The attached delivery schedule outlines the required delivery timelines for the base contract and six option periods, specifying whether production would continue without interruption or include a break between the contract and option periods. Delivery is required within 330 days of contract award for the base order and initial option periods, and 60 days after the last boat for follow-on options. The schedule also provides standard definitions distinguishing uninterrupted production from periods requiring a break.
