About this file

This is a Labor Burden Calculation appendix for the Windsor Readiness Center Backup Battery project in Colorado. The document provides the methodology and detailed calculations for determining labor costs associated with the project work. It outlines the labor burden rates applied to various job classifications and skill levels required for the backup battery installation and related services at the Windsor Readiness Center. The appendix includes hourly rates, fringe benefits, payroll taxes, and overhead allocations necessary to calculate the fully loaded labor costs that contractors must account for when developing their project bids and cost proposals.

The labor burden calculations establish the baseline cost structure for labor-related expenses, enabling bidders to accurately project staffing requirements and associated costs for the project duration. The document serves as a reference tool for both the contracting agency and potential bidders to ensure consistent application of labor cost methodologies and to maintain transparency in pricing evaluations. These calculations are essential for budget development, cost comparison among bidders, and establishing the financial framework for contract performance and payment terms.
