1.0 General Information.
1.1 Overview. The Fort Wainwright sanitary wastewater treatment and collection system collects and delivers sanitary wastewater to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) by means of collection lines, sewer mains, and lift stations. See TE 36.
1.2 Components. Sanitary wastewater treatment and collection system components include, but are not limited to, electrical, electronic, and digital systems and controls; level controls, control panels, phone dialers, switches, metering devices, sewage basins, alarms, lift stations, wet wells, dry wells, pumps, motors, air compressors, filters, piping, indicator lights, mounting hardware, meters, valves, and fittings, and laboratory equipment and components.

3.1.1 Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWPT). The Industrial Waste Collection System (IWCS) is privately operated by Doyon Utilities. The demarcation point for wasterwater is the first cleanout outside the building foundation.
