About this file
This document is an amendment to the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Pharmacy Solution RFP, which contains details about the bidding process and upcoming deadlines. The RFP seeks to replace the current Customer Information Control System for Pharmacy, and proposed systems must accommodate a decentralized ordering system. The amendment provides updates on the BEP (Business Enterprise Program) goal policy change, which requires vendors to be registered in specific NIGP codes to fulfill the BEP goal. It also announces the due date for Round 2 of questions as March 13, 2024, and the offers due date as April 18, 2024, at 10:00 am local time. The document lists the attendees of the Pre-Bid Conference, including both BEP-certified and non-BEP-certified vendors.
The amendment also provides information on technical and administrative questions, as well as BEP-related inquiries, which should be directed to specific IDHS contacts. It emphasizes the importance of including a BEP Utilization Plan with the RFP submission and states that the BEP program is supportive of this and all solicitations, offering assistance with the application review process.
