About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for snowplow cutting edges by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The amendment addresses vendor questions and provides IDOT's responses, including an increase in quantities for two line items and the replacement of another line item with a new specification. The products are to be delivered to IDOT District 8 by July 31, 2024, and bidders must confirm their ability to meet this deadline. The award could be made as early as April 16, 2024, but the awarded vendor cannot begin procurement until the contract is executed, which is estimated to occur by mid-May 2024.
The solicitation is a REBID for fiscal year 2024 and is for IDOT snowplow cutting edges. The contract opportunity involves the state of Illinois and Cook County jurisdiction. Pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, and other salient information are not provided in the document.
