About this file

This document is Amendment #1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) Event #32101-13644, issued by the Tennessee Department of General Services for the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) Mobile Offices procurement. The amendment provides clarifications and responses to 38 vendor questions regarding the specifications for two mobile office units. Key details include requirements for a 26-28 foot vehicle length, a three-camera system integrated with an AM/FM Bluetooth radio, a four-point automatic leveling system, dual roof-mounted A/C, nine total windows (four on each side and one rear), and specific interior configurations including a private office, open workspace, and kitchen area. The mobile offices are designed to accommodate four people, with specific seating, storage, and electrical requirements.

The amendment confirms payment terms of net 30 after inspection and state acceptance, with no deposit or progress payments. The state is tax-exempt and will handle registration and titling in-house. The electrical system must include two 100-amp hour lithium coach batteries and a 2kW pass-through 120V inverter. Interior specifications include 120V outlets with USB ports, fabric ceiling, commercial vinyl flooring, slider windows with curtains, and a full wrap exterior design. The procurement emphasizes price as the primary determining factor for vendor selection, with production timeline being a secondary consideration. The total contract value is not explicitly restated in this amendment, but previous documents indicated a maximum liability of $649,000.00 for the two mobile office units.
