About this file

This is Amendment #1 to an Invitation for Bid issued by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) for concrete bridge construction and installation. The solicitation encompasses four lots of concrete bridge projects with varying specifications and timelines. Lot #1 features a concrete bridge with an estimated set date of April 21, 2020; Lot #2 is a 50-foot concrete bridge on Woodcreek Drive with an estimated set date of May 4, 2020, requiring 2 exterior slabs and 8 interior slabs at 50 feet each with 30-foot out-to-out dimensions; Lot #3 has an estimated set date of September 7, 2020; and Lot #4 is a 70-foot concrete bridge on Mt. Pisgah Road with an estimated set date of June 1, 2020, requiring 2 exterior slabs and 10 interior slabs at 70 feet each. The offer submission deadline is February 13, 2020, at 2:30 p.m., with questions from offerors due by February 6, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. Award notification is scheduled for March 16, 2020. Offerors must submit their offers online at http://www.procurement.sc.gov and retain their offers for a minimum of thirty calendar days following the opening date.

The amendment clarifies previously conflicting estimated set dates and corrects bridge specifications in response to bidder inquiries. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment through signing and returning the document, identifying the amendment number and date on their bid, submitting written acknowledgment, or indicating receipt through their bid submission. All terms and conditions not modified by this amendment remain unchanged from the original solicitation. Offerors must register to obtain a South Carolina Vendor Number and identify their entity type, state of incorporation if applicable, and authorized signatory information on the cover page submission.
