About this file
This document is a Lump Sum/Fixed Fee Bid Form for a design, engineering, and construction project at Denver International Airport (DEN), specifically related to the Automated Guideway Transit System (AGTS) Maintenance Facility Expansion. The bid form is structured to capture detailed pricing for various project phases including schematic design, construction documents at different completion stages (30%, 60%, 90%, 100%), construction administration, bidding, permitting, and closeout record documents. The form allows vendors to provide a comprehensive breakdown of their proposed fees, with sections for total lump sum bid amount, allowances, contingencies, and potential add/alternate options.
The bid form includes key contractual conditions such as the City's right to accept or reject the bid, vendor responsibilities for obtaining necessary licenses and permits, and requirements for providing insurance and performance bonds. While specific pricing amounts are not filled in, the document is designed to ensure transparency in project cost allocation, with the total lump sum bid expected to cover all labor, materials, equipment, overhead, and profit necessary to complete the project. The form is dated for November 2024 and is part of the procurement process for the AGTS Maintenance Facility Expansion project, which aims to modernize and expand the existing facility to support growing airport transit vehicle maintenance needs.
