2) Reduce fiberglass batt insulation in stud cavities to R-13 minimum.
3) Add Composite Foam Board Insulation as specified on exterior side of structural sheathing, under water-resistive barrier as specified.
4) Install siding as specified. Fasten through water-resistive barrier into OSB or plywood of Composite Foam Board.
h. Option 8: Delete gypsum board attached to underside of roof trusses at rooms where acoustic ceiling tile is installed.
i. Option 9: Delete exhaust fans EF-1, EF-2, EF-3, EF-4 and EF-7. At each fan location add a 6x6 neck / 100 cfm exhaust grille. Add a Greenheck CSP-A700 cabinet fan (with integral, factory mounted speed controller) in the ceiling space of Women’s RR (110). Provide a ceiling access panel (24x24) located for service to the fan. Provide ductwork (1000 fpm maximum velocity) from the exhaust grilles to an intake plenum at the exhaust fan and route a 10x10 fan discharge duct to the exhaust / relief louver.
Control the fan from the room occupancy sensors – When any occupancy sensor notes occupancy within any of the toilet / shower rooms, the fan is on. Provide control relays and miscellaneous wiring and devices for a complete operating system. Delete electrical connections to the five exhaust fans noted above and provide a single power connection (350 watts, 120 v) to the new exhaust fan from a spare circuit.
