CLARIFICATION

Solicitation AG‐0116‐S‐12‐0061, Coon Cove LTF Access Road Reconditioning July 2, 2012

Proposals are due today, July 2, 2012, at 2:00pm.

The Forest Service is aware of an apparent discrepancy between drawings 6‐10 in Attachment 4 and section 571 of the supplemental specification on page 64 in Attachment 2 regarding the bridge railings.

Where there is an apparent discrepancy in the solicitation, an offeror should propose the solution that makes the most sense and explain its approach in its technical proposal. This solicitation is a request for proposals (RFP), not an invitation for bids (IFB). The Government contemplates awarding without discussions, but may conduct discussions with offerors if the contracting officer determines them to be necessary – in such a case, offerors will be invited to submit revised proposals after discussions.

Accordingly, all prospective offerors who are interested in this project are invited to submit proposals today.

Offerors are invited to use the conformed solicitation AG‐0116‐S‐12‐0061‐06 to submit their proposals, with an acknowledgement of amendment ‐07 on the reverse of the SF‐1442.
