About this file
This is Addendum No. 5 to a Request for Proposal issued by the City University of New York (CUNY) Central Procurement Office for research compliance online training (UCO-997). The addendum revises the key events and dates for proposal submission and responds to questions submitted by prospective proposers. The revised proposal submission deadline is September 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, with written questions due by August 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. EST. The contract term is five years. CUNY seeks a subscription-based, asynchronous, web-based research compliance training solution to serve approximately 13,000 users annually across the CUNY system, comprising the Central Office and 26 senior colleges and schools. The solution must accommodate multiple subscription components including research compliance base training, biosafety and biosecurity, export compliance, animal care and use, research security, and essentials of research administration modules across all covered sites.
The addendum clarifies that pricing submissions must be based on a single annual subscription price for the entire CUNY system rather than per-location or per-school basis, with pricing quantities expanded from 18 current sites to 27 sites (26 colleges and schools plus the Central Office) for most subscription components. Proposers must use the Price Proposal Breakdown Pages specified in Part 5 of the RFP and no alternative pricing formats will be accepted. All pricing must include the cost of all required modules and functionality outlined in the RFP, with no separate pricing for add-on services or features permitted. The addendum must be signed and included with Volume I of the proposal; failure to include all signed addenda may result in proposal rejection. This addendum constitutes part of the binding agreement between CUNY and the selected vendor.

UCO-997 Research Compliance Online Training Addendum No. 5
A. The City University of New York is a single legal entity that is currently comprised of a Central Office, and the 26 senior colleges and schools, and community colleges in the CUNY system. These numbers may change over time.
Proposers must submit an annual subscription price for the CUNY system as a whole, not on a per-location or per-school basis. CUNY estimates that approximately 13,000 users will use the Solution annually across its Central Office and its constituent colleges and schools, however the actual number of users may vary, and CUNY shall not be liable if the actual number of users or sites is greater or lesser than estimated.
2. Site quantities by subscription component

A. See response to Question 1 above regarding quantities. All Proposers must submit pricing using the Price Proposal
Breakdown Pages included in Part 5 of the RFP, and no other price proposal formats or structures will be considered.
Pricing breakdowns included in Proposals that purport to offer different information or breakdowns will be deemed informational only, and will not be included in the resulting Contract.
The proposed Solution, and the pricing proposed in a Proposal, must reflect the cost for all required modules and functionality set forth in the RFP.
