About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 and Additional Questions & Answers for the Florida Department of Management Services' Digital Security Solutions RFP No. 24-43230000-RFP-2. The addendum revises several key dates, including extending the proposal submission deadline to December 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM ET, with a public proposal opening at 10:01 AM ET. The evaluation period is now scheduled for December 17, 2024 - January 7, 2025, with an anticipated Notice of Intent to Award posting on January 13, 2025 and contract start date of January 16, 2025. The document also includes revisions to Attachments L1-L16 (Technical Response) and Attachment M (Experience), though respondents will not be deemed non-responsive for using the original versions.
The addendum includes answers to vendor questions regarding contract terms, clarifying that "not-to-exceed pricing" means guaranteed maximum price for a Solution. The Department declines multiple vendor requests to modify various contract terms including those related to suspension of work, termination, indemnification, and financial consequences. The document confirms that only one Attachment M (Experience) should be submitted regardless of the number of security categories bid, and that while punchout catalogs are encouraged for offering products, they are not required.

Addendum No. 2
Questions and Answers
The Department has received the following questions through the Business Network. The questions are shown below exactly as they were received. The Department’s answers are provided in the table listed below. Additionally, the Department is revising its answer to Question 135:
135 the word documents provided (attachment
L3) are giving us problems when trying to input our responses to the prompts. For example prompt 1 is not allowing up to 3,000 characters max as stated. I noticed it is set to review mode and not edit mode.
Can you please turn off track changes and set it to edit mode and reissue the attachments? When we try to input responses sometimes it jumps to the next prompt when trying to respond to a different prompt.
Attachments L1-L16, Technical Response Attachment documents were created in Microsoft Word. The Department is unable to recreate this issue.
Please refer to Section 1.4, Revised Attachment L, of the Addendum 2.
