About this file
This is an Addendum No. 1 and Questions & Answers document for the Florida Department of Management Services' Digital Security Solutions RFP No. 24-43230000-RFP-2. The addendum extends several key dates, with the proposal submission deadline moved from November 21, 2024 to December 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM ET. Other revised dates include: Q&A posting moved to November 18, 2024; evaluation period changed to December 17, 2024 - January 7, 2025; Notice of Intent to Award posting moved to January 13, 2025; and anticipated contract start date shifted to January 16, 2025. The addendum also updates submission requirements, clarifying that if a Solution meets requirements for multiple Service Categories, the applicable Attachment L Technical Response must be submitted for each category.
The document provides answers to over 180 questions from potential respondents, covering topics such as pricing structure, teaming arrangements, and technical requirements. Key clarifications include: respondents must submit one Attachment M (Experience) regardless of number of solutions proposed; tiered pricing is not mandatory but will result in higher scores; resellers must be approved by the Department prior to utilization; and specific customer requirements will vary as this will be a state term contract available to multiple agencies. The addendum emphasizes that no new solutions may be added during the contract term, though the Department will work with contractors if service availability changes.

Attachment L12 - Service Category 12 Response
Regarding Prompt 2 "Solution should detect, categorize, and prioritize IT incidents based on predefined rules."
We are looking to clarify the 'detection' in this context: The detection of Incidents typically sits within Monitoring tooling/agents, which then feed into Event capabilities to allow correlation &
filtering, which then integrate with the Incident Management Workflow solution. We assume multiple monitoring toolings integrate with the Incident Management Workflow solution, as these are often technology dependent. Note that you are asking for Pre-built integrations with Monitoring in Prompt 7. Our questions:
- Can we assume that Monitoring capabilities will be existing systems that need to be integrated (see Prompt 7 ITSM) and thus are NOT part of the Incident Management Workflow solution?
- Are you looking for Event Management capabilities such as correlation &
filtering in the Incident Management Workflow Solution?
Provide all relevant information for a proposed Solution.
