About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the West Virginia Purchasing Division on behalf of the Alcohol Beverage and Control Administration for a one-time purchase of next-generation firewalls, rack mounting shelves, and SFP+ transceiver modules. The solicitation number is CRFQ ABS27*01, with the specifications revised as of August 25, 2026. The procurement seeks two Palo Alto Networks Enterprise Firewalls (PAN-PA-550), two Palo Alto Networks 1U rack mount shelves, and four Palo Alto Networks SFP+ transceiver modules (10GbE). The addendum serves to correct specifications from the original solicitation. Contract award will be made to the vendor providing the contract items meeting required specifications at the lowest overall total cost. Delivery must occur within 60 working days of purchase order receipt to 900 Pennsylvania Avenue, 4th Floor, Charleston, West Virginia 25302.
Vendors must acknowledge receipt of all addenda by completing the Addendum Acknowledgment Form, with failure to do so potentially resulting in bid disqualification. Authorized resellers may submit alternate or equal products with manufacturer part and model numbers, provided that vendors submitting alternate firewalls include technical documentation demonstrating compliance with all mandatory functional specifications and provide all necessary security software subscriptions for the hardware life. Vendors assume costs for any required installation, software, hardware, or training associated with alternate submissions. Payment will follow West Virginia state procedures, and delivery terms are F.O.B. destination. Unacceptable items will be returned at vendor expense with no restocking charge, with either replacement, full credit, or refund at the agency's discretion.
