BAS/DDC RFP Bid Notice Summary

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) bid notice issued by the Alpena Public Schools District (ABSD) in Michigan for Building Automation System (BAS) and Direct Digital Control (DDC) services. The RFP seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive building automation and control system solutions for the district's facilities. The proposal process includes a mandatory bidders' conference to allow potential respondents to review project specifications, ask clarifying questions, and understand the scope of work. Interested parties must submit responses by the stated deadline to be considered for award. The contract will establish a term of service for the implementation and maintenance of the BAS/DDC systems across the district's buildings, with potential renewal options to be negotiated as part of the final contract agreement.

The RFP will be evaluated based on pricing, technical qualifications, experience, and ability to meet the district's operational requirements. Specific pricing terms, set-aside provisions, and contract funding amounts will be detailed in the full RFP documents. The district anticipates awarding the contract to a qualified vendor capable of delivering reliable building automation solutions that enhance energy efficiency and operational control across its facilities. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend the mandatory bidders' conference and review the complete RFP package before submitting their proposals.
