About this file
This Statement of Work details the requirements for decommissioning and upfitting two Ford F-150 Responder vehicles for the National Park Service. The vendor must provide a one-year warranty for wiring/installation and complete the vehicle builds within 15 business days of receiving the new vehicles.
The specifications include detailed requirements for power supply/wiring (30-minute timer for emergency equipment, constant 12V dome light, labeled fuses), siren controls with three stages of light/siren activation, console setup requirements, and extensive lighting configurations. The build requires specific equipment placement including Brookings LED lights, IR LED pods, Federal Signal Pathfinder siren controller, radar units, Motorola APX 8500 radio, and prisoner partition. The vendor must also facilitate the return of one decommissioned Ford F-150 to the GSA Metro Phoenix Auto Auction, with advance scheduling required. The vehicles will feature "ghost" graphics with the NPS identifier and vehicle number on the roof, along with high-visibility chevrons on the rear.
