14. The purpose of this amendment is to answer 10 Contractor questions. The proposal due date remains unchanged.

A. Answers to Contractor Questions.

1. Reference: Drawing 79K40870, Page E103, Note L. Where on the Bid Form do we list the quote for Bid Alternate specified in Note L? We assume that this is part of CLIN 0001 - Package 2 TASK 1.

Answer: Bid Alternate is not in the Scope of this project.

2. Reference: 80KSC021R0023, Section L.18(b)(2). We will not be using major subcontractors

(our subs will be less than 10% of contract value). Can we not submit Technical Experience Summaries and PPQs for the subcontractors?

Answer: You would not need to submit Technical Experience Summaries and PPQs for the subcontractors.

3. Reference: Drawing package 79K40869. Drawing E-001 Note 4 states to provide extra material 15kv cable, splices, elbows, etc. to be turned over to the government. This packages has 5 additive bid items. Which additive bid item shall we place the money for this material?

Or will the bid sheet be revised to add an additional bid additive for this material?

Answer: Place the bid items (extra materials) in Additive 1.

4. Reference: Drawing package 79K40869. For each #4/0 and #350 15kv cable there will be a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 7500' to 10,000'. This packages has 5 additive bid items, some of which need very little cable. Which additive bid item shall we place the money for this material? Or will the bid sheet be revised to add an additional bid additive for this material?

Answer: Place the bid item (EPR 15KV cable) in Additive 1.

5. Reference: Drawing package 79K40870. E-002 shows a proposed sequence of construction and E-003 shows a bid alternate for the sequence of construction for the temporary power.

There is no bid alternate for Task 1 indicated on the bid form. Please advise.

Answer: Bid alternate (E-003) in not in the scope of this project.

6. Reference: Specification 79K40868 Section 33 77 19.00 40. Section 2.1 Equipment asks for visible break option. We can do this with the Non-Compact Trident however, we cannot provide the front/rear option. The configuration would be all front access. Will the 3" diameter circular viewing windows to verify Open/Close indicator position be sufficient?

This is what has been provided on all prior projects with solid dielectric type switchgear provided to NASA.

Answer: Yes.

7. Reference: RFP Section L.18 Project Execution Plan & Drawing package 79K40870. What is the anticipated award date that we should use in developing our schedule? There are specific work windows found in the sequences of work and this is needed to build the schedule.

Answer: June 2021 is the estimated award date. The work windows are not known at this time. It will be coordinate with facility manager and customers during the project.

8. Reference: Drawing package 79K40870. We are requesting the electrical as-builts drawings for the OSB-1 Facility.

Answer: Will be provided after contract award.

9. Reference: Drawing package 79K40870. Drawing E-603 shows cable 17C routing from

ATS-FPC to SWBD-1127A. Drawing E-105 cable schedule does not indicate a cable 17C.

Please advise.

Answer: Change Drawing E-603 to read 17A, and not 17C

10. Reference: Drawing package 79K40870. Drawing E-105 cable 17A shows (3) 4" RSC with

(9) #14 XHHW-2. Should the conduit size read 3/4"?

Answer: Yes, should read ¾” RSC.

B. The proposal due date remains May 24, 2021 at 2:00:00 PM EDT.
