11. In the PWS, page 47 of 52, Housekeeping Frequency. There is an undefined frequency H.

This is located in several areas, example, Warewashing, Column 15 is listed as H.

Warewashing, Column 9 also lists AH, which is also not defined. Please define H frequency.

H WAS REMOVED, CHANGED TO DAILYS.

12. RFP, page 39 states “See Section 8 of the PWS for Quality Control Requirements.” There is no Section 8 of the PWS. Should we assume this is section H?

SECTION-H TALKS ABOUT THE CONTRACTOR PROVIDING A QUALITY

CONTROL PLAN WITHIN 15 DAYS, SECTION-I SPEAKS ABOUT HOW THE

GOVERNMENT WILL DETERMINE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE

CONTRACTORS QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAM AND THE QASP WAS

PROVIDED IN THE PACKAGE.

13. RFP 39 states, (see Technical Exhibits 7 and 8). Technical exhibits 7 and 8 are not provided. Are these pages 48 and 49 of the PWS?

YES, THIS WOULD BE PAGES 47-49 OF THE PWS HOUSEKEEPING

FREQUENCY.

14. RFP page 39 states the housekeeping “ plan shall list days and times each requirement will be performed in the dining facility.” Is this referring to just the dining room area or the food service areas as well. Can we assume this is a draft plan required and that times may vary, as long as cleaning does not take place during meals unless necessary? Until we are able to review the existing facility and the items to be cleaned we cannot, with accuracy determine the amount of time items will take to be cleaned and amount of time to clean areas may differ based on individual days. Please provide further guidance on this requirement. For example, cleaning of floors will take place daily, after meals and also as needed.

THIS IS LISTED IN SECTION (a)-(b) PAGES 47-49 OF THE PWS. IT LISTS WHEN

ITEM NEED TO BE CLEANED INDICATING IT IS DAILY WEEKLY, MONTHLY

OR AFTER MEALS.

15. RFP Sanitation Requirements. We understand that a company officer will review the Coast Guard Food Service Practical Handbook and the Coast Guard Food Safety and Sanitation Program Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP), CGTTP 4-11.12A and state understanding of and compliance with both documents. Is there additional information required? Given that the requirements outlined are specific, what additional information is required to be compliant on this section?

THE CONTRACTOR MUST ADHERE AND PASS THE CG MEDICAL WEEKLY

INSPECTIONS. FORM CG 5145 PROVIDED.

16. PWS page 34 of 52, the government requires the contractor to provide “knives, flatware, can openers, and china” Please define China and provide the number of items of “china” required. How many sets of “flatware are required? We have been provided monthly totals of meals, but to determine the number of eating utensils and “china” we need an average daily count of meals served. Are cups for beverages included in the “china?”

Coffee cups?

THIS SECTION HAS BEEN UPDATED. SEE REVISED PWS.

17. Counts for FY 20 have not been included. Have numbers increased on decreased due to COVID-19 requirements?

WE HAD A DECREASE IN NUMBERS WHEN COVID STARTED.

18. Should we base the number of meals on FY 19 counts and assume no COVID protocols?

WE BASED ALL THE NUMBERS OFF OF 2019 PRIOR TO ALL THE COVID

PROTOCOLS STARTED.

19. Is the contractor responsible for replacing lexans and cambros? (storage containers)

YES IT HAS BEEN CLARIFIED. SEE REVISED PWS.
