This will be an applied credit if cancelled.
• Contractor must insure that the wet berth and access to the drydock have adequate draft to allow the ship to move in and out of the drydock without touching the bottom.

• Contractor to provide information to MARAD how they intend to get full coverage on the bottom of the vessel using whatever type of block movement or block arrangement difference from the previous dry dockings. This requirement should be discussed and agreement upon prior to the time the ship is set on the blocks and prior to block inspection.
• Stern Tube Seal is to be changed to a 5 year guaranteed seal with EAL-type oil which will require flushing of the old DTE 16 type mineral oil to displace same. All necessary steps must be taken to prevent contamination of the new EAL-type oil by flushing and cleaning of the tank to insure proper operation and life of the EAL-type oil and the new seal. All aspects of the seal change and the EAL oil flushing and filling must me the requirements of the attending Wartsila Technician. If only one of the pumps are operable at the time of the solicitation, Contractor must state that fact and when the inoperable pump will be repaired and be operable before the ship is drydocked
• At time of solicitation, Contractor must prove that they have drydocked (at the facility that will be used in their bid) at least three (3) ships of the same size as the TS Golden Bear (500ft length and 72ft Beam and 30.5ft depth) and completed Underwater (46,000 sq ft) and Top Sides (24,000 sq. ft.) full sweep blasting to SSPC-SP6 and Coating of same.
