About this file
This is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for elevator maintenance and repair services issued by the State of New Mexico. The solicitation requests qualified contractors to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance, emergency repair services, and inspections for elevators located at various state facilities. The ITB specifies that bidders must be capable of responding to emergency service calls within defined timeframes and maintaining compliance with all applicable safety codes and regulations. Bidders were required to submit sealed bids by the specified deadline, with contract award anticipated following the evaluation period. The contract term is for an initial period with potential renewal options to be exercised at the state's discretion, allowing for extended service continuity across state-owned facilities.
Pricing for elevator maintenance and repair services is to be submitted on a per-service basis, including fixed preventive maintenance fees and hourly rates for emergency repairs. The solicitation may include set-asides for small businesses or disadvantaged vendors as applicable under New Mexico procurement regulations. Bidders should note any incumbent service providers and current maintenance agreements that may be superseded by this award. Funding for these services derives from state operational budgets allocated to facility maintenance and management. All bids must clearly outline pricing structures, service response times, parts and labor costs, and any additional fees to ensure transparent evaluation and cost comparison among qualified bidders.
