About this file

This document outlines reporting requirements for shipments of hazardous materials and inert component parts within and from the continental United States and overseas locations. It specifies data elements that must be included in a Report of Shipment (REPSHIP) such as the shipment date, estimated time of arrival, required delivery date, carrier, bill of lading or manifest number, container information including seal numbers and weight, security risk category, hazard classification, and contact information for the responsible party. Lot numbers, identification codes, and condition codes should be included if available. Separate reports are required for different modes of shipment and individual shipment units within a single conveyance. This reporting format supports logistics administration and control of hazardous materials and ammunition shipments for the Department of Defense.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center seeking 10 each T-38 explosive rotary actuators with a national stock number provided. The delivery period is 12 months after award of a written notice. The destination unit is specified as is an electronic solicitation process.
