NKB#12245.33: Jackson USBC Build-Out Pre-Bid RFIs – Batch #1

1) On SHT. A-002, what are the Floor Slab to Bottom of the Deck Dimensions? There are two (2)

Wall Types 920a. Which is correct?

Answer: Floor Slab to Bottom of Deck dimensions are as follows:

Basement to 1st floor = 15’-11”

1st floor to 2nd floor =15’-9”

3rd floor to 4th floor =14’-1 ¼”

4th floor to 5th floor =13’-7 3/8”

5th floor to 6th floor =20’-10”

Contractor should verify these dimensions in the field

Answer: Please see the wall tags that identify 920a and 920e. This is a typographical error

2) Please clearly identify base bid work and options.

Answer: Refer to Specifications 011000-2 SUMMARY OF WORK 1.1C

3) The Room Finish Schedule on SHT. AE603 lists a room EX303 that is to be painted. Where does this room show up in the plans?

Answer: This seems to be a typographical error. This is the corridor next to Open Station 232. See Sheet

4) Who is the existing Fire Alarm System Manufacturer/Provider/Vendor?

Answer: Service and testing of the existing system has been by Buffalo Security Fire CompanySiemens model XLS Fire Finder

5) Who is the existing Access Control System Manufacturer/Provider/Vendor?

Answer: Tyco, GC is only responsible for infrastructure.

6) There are two (2) existing electrical panels on the 2nd floor being renovated to match existing. I need to know the Manufacturer/Panel Info for existing panels LLA-2 and LL1-2 located in 2nd floor Electric Closet (Reference Detail 2/E-423 for location).

Answer:

LL-A-2: Eaton Type PRL1A, 208Y/120V, 3 Phase, 4 wire with 150A Main CB

LL-A1-2: Eaton Type PRL1A, 208Y/120V, 3 Phase, 4 wire with 150A Main CB
