The following notes are referrenced above throughout this document. The notes are intended to be applicable to the entire attachment whether or not specifically addressed line‐by‐line.

Note 1: Quoted product should meet the intended functional needs of the VA. For example, if the specification states a rectangular grommet and your product line only carries a round grommet, please submit your product line’s offering. The intended function is equal.

Note 2: Furniture finishes should be matched in quoted alternative as close as possible. The VA will determine if it is acceptable.

Note 3: If proprietary finishes are named, Quoters are to substitute with like material. For example, Flintwood is a reconstituted veneer, therefore Quoters are required to propose reconstituted veneer.

Note 4: Adjustable height desks/tables shall meet the minimum height adjustability as stated.

Greater adjustability is acceptable.

Note 5: The intent of material description for thickness or structure is to ensure a level of quality and durability. Quoters are to match construction intent. For example, if the specification calls for edge band material with a thickness that your product line doesn’t carry, please submit the material that your product line offers. The intent of the requirement is to protect the edge of the surface.

Note 6: If a feature mentioned in the Performance Specification is not directly related to a specific furniture item, it may be disregarded.
