This requirement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) has a requirement to provide design and construction services for the complete replacement of the existing pedestrian bridge named “Autoridad Metropolitana de Autobuses (AMA) bridge” located at Road PR‐21 (Also known as “Jose Kiko Custodio Avenue”), San Juan, PR 00921-3201. The pedestrian bridge spans between the AMA parking lot and the facilities of VACHS. This project will be comprised of the following stages: design, construction, and close-out. The contractor shall be required to provide perimeter fencing throughout the construction area. The contractor is responsible for providing design-build services to install a new pedestrian bridge, as well as removing and disposing of the existing pedestrian steel bridge. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 25, 2022. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.gov website at www.sam.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV). Important Notice: Prior to submitting a proposal under SDVOSB set-aside solicitation, offerors must be listed as verified in the VIP database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov.
