About this file

This justification and approval document describes a sole source procurement by the Department of Veterans Affairs for an arched open sky pergola from Forever Redwood for use in the Erie VA Medical Center Community Living Center construction project. The pergola will be installed in the exterior courtyard as part of the project and will cost $4,330. The justification cites that only one responsible source will satisfy the agency's requirement for a pergola that is consistent in shape, construction, and materials with other courtyard amenities to establish a cohesive design.

The related federal contract opportunity notice indicates the Veterans Integrated Service Network #04 intends to issue an invitation for bid for the construction services for the CLC NRM construction project located at the Erie VA Medical Center. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 29, 2020. The contract will be awarded as a 100% service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside with a performance period of 365 calendar days from notice to proceed. The estimated value is between $2,000,000 to $5,000,000.
