About this file

This is an Insurance and Bonding Requirements document issued by Collier County Board of County Commissioners in Florida for ITN No. 25-8362, a vending machine services solicitation. The ITN seeks comprehensive vending machine services across the county's Parks and Recreation Division, covering three distinct zones with a total of 70 vending machines located at various public facilities including parks, community centers, airports, and recreational complexes. Vendors must provide machines in excellent condition equipped with LED displays, energy-efficient technology, and capability to accept multiple payment methods including credit cards. The ITN opening is scheduled for May 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST with electronic submission through the county's procurement portal. The contract will be awarded for a three-year term with potential two one-year renewal options, with services expected to commence within 60 days of award. Vendors may propose services for one, two, or all three zones.

The insurance requirements mandate Commercial General Liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence with a $2,000,000 aggregate, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, Employer's Liability of $500,000 per occurrence, Automobile Liability of $500,000 per occurrence, and Cyber Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence. For projects exceeding $200,000, Performance and Payment Bonds of 100% of the contract award amount are required, with bid bonds equal to 5% of the cost proposal submitted with proposals. Collier County must be named as Additional Insured on applicable certificates with 30-day cancellation notice required. A minimum monthly revenue fee of $10 per machine is required, and the county historically generates approximately $55,000 in annual revenue from vending services, though future revenue patterns may vary. Proposals will be evaluated on a 100-point scoring system considering business plan, proposed county revenue, firm experience, and local vendor preference, with local vendors eligible to claim preference upon submission of required documentation.
