About this file
This document is a Solicitation Amendment issued by the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) for RFP No. 2024HCA15, specifically Amendment No. 4 dated 4/24/2025. The amendment is focused on the Health Technology Assessment procurement and specifically modifies the original solicitation by removing section 2.3 Interested Subcontractor List, with explicit notation that the contracts will not be using subcontractors. The amendment was issued by Scott Henderson, the RFP Coordinator, and is intended to notify all RFP bidders of this specific change while maintaining that all other terms, conditions, and specifications of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
The amendment represents a procedural adjustment to the ongoing procurement process, signaling a streamlined approach to contractor selection by eliminating the requirement for subcontractor listings. This modification suggests the Washington State Health Care Authority is seeking direct, primary contractor engagement for the health technology assessment project, potentially simplifying the proposal and evaluation process by focusing on prime contractor capabilities and reducing administrative complexity associated with subcontractor management.
