About this file
This is a Bid Submittal Form for an Electrical Low Voltage Job Order Contract (JOC) with City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) in Illinois. The contract enables CCC to issue individual Job Orders for electrical work across its facilities, including IT/AV systems, low voltage installations, security products, access control, turnstiles, and CCTV systems. Upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed for each Job Order, the selected contractor must provide all necessary management, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision to complete the specified electrical improvements.
Bidders must submit three separate Adjustment Factors as multipliers to the Construction Task Catalog base prices of 1.0000: a Normal Working Hours Adjustment Factor (Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., excluding County Holidays) weighted at 60 percent; an Other Than Normal Working Hours Adjustment Factor (weekday evenings 5:01 p.m.–5:59 a.m., weekends, and County Holidays) weighted at 20 percent; and a Non-Prepriced Adjustment Factor for work not in the catalog, weighted at 20 percent. All Adjustment Factors must include a 1.00 percent JOC System License Fee and must comply with CCC's Cabling Standards as documented in Volume V. The Other Than Normal Working Hours factor must be greater than or equal to the Normal Working Hours factor, and the Non-Prepriced Adjustment Factor must be at least 1.0000. An Award Criteria Figure calculated from the three weighted factors determines the lowest proposed price for evaluation purposes, though no guarantee exists that work will be distributed according to these percentages.
