Fence Structure Components The physical structure that creates a secure facility
12' Strain Post with Mounting Tabs A strain post, also known as the end of the zone, is utilized to create tension on all wires within a zone.
12' Corner Post with Mounting Tabs A corner post acts similar to a strain post but is not an inline post. Corner posts typically connect two different zones at an angle
Part Name Description
12' Inline Post with Mounting Tabs Inline posts hold electrified wire and ensure the wire stay taught
Insulator Insulators are used to hold the electrified wire away from the post
Insulator Pins (including nuts) Pins are used to hold the insulators to the fence posts
Insulator Springs Springs are used to hold the electrified wire to the
Electrified Wire Electrified Wire is strung taught around the entire perimeter and is energized to deter an escape
Electrified Tensioner Tensioners are used to create tension within a zone
Stainless Steel Crimps Crimps are used to splice stainless steel wire to itself
Rodent Insulator Insulators are used to hold the rodent wire
Rodent Pin (including nut & washer) Pins are used to attached a rodent insulator to a post
Rodent Tensioner Tensioners are used to create tension within a zone
Field Lightning Arrestors Lighting Arrestors are used to prevent power surges that could potentially damage equipment
Copper Jumper Wire (unbent) Jumper wire is utilized to move a phase of electricity from one stainless steel wire to another
Copper Crimp Crimps are used to connect jumper wire to the electrified wire
HT Cable (Energizer to Fence) Cable is used to run power from the Energizer cabinet to the electrified fence line
Traffic Light Traffic Light is an indicator for personnal to understand the status of the Lethal/Non- Lethal Fence system
Warning Signs Signs are used to warn individuals on the inside and outside of the facility that there is a dangerous Electrified Fence System around the perimeter of the prison
Stereo Doppler Microwave - Sensor Only Microwaves are used to pick up motion within the Sallyport
Ground Cable - Main (Price vary daily) Ground Cable buried around the entire perimeter to create one large grounding grid
Ground Cable - Whip (Price vary daily) Ground cable used to connect the main ground to each individual post
