About this file

This amendment modifies a solicitation for armed and unarmed security guard services at the Hoover Dam. The Bureau of Reclamation seeks proposals by February 21, 2023 for a base period of performance from May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024. The amendment clarifies that offerors should propose a 30-day transition period beginning April 1, 2023 and ending April 30, 2023, followed by a full 12 months for the base period beginning May 1, 2023. It also answers a question by confirming the period of performance dates and reminding offerors to acknowledge receipt of the amendment.

PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: The purpose of this amendment is to answer a question received.

Question: The government's base period CLINs detailed in Section B, Schedule 1 indicate the

Base Period as May 1, 2023 - April 30, 2024. Section 15.1 of the PWS indicates a 30-day transition that is inclusive of this base period. Schedule 1 has cost inputs required for a Transition period and for 12 months of the Base Period. Is it the government's intention to have offerors propose 30 days of transition and 11 months of base period? Or should the successful offeror plan for a 30-day transition beginning on April 1, 2023 and concluding on April 30, 2023, and then begin a full 12 months of base period on May 1, 2023?
