About this file

This document contains a schedule of items and specifications for a federal construction contract to replace three trail bridges in the Superior National Forest. The contract will require demolition and removal of existing timber bridges, installation of new timber abutments, wing walls and decking materials, placement of aggregate, riprap and geotextiles, installation of bridge signs and markers, and seeding and mulching of disturbed areas. Bidders must price out individual construction items such as excavation, backfill, treated timber components, base materials and erosion control measures. The total small business set-aside contract is solicited under NAICS code 237310 for the Department of Agriculture Forest Service to replace bridges on the Pincushion Mountain Loop, Caribou Snowmobile Trail, and other locations within the Superior National Forest.
