About this file
This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services for the AS27-100 Scipio North Lop and Scatter contract, conducted by the State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The solicitation was issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) limited to prequalified contractors only, seeking lop and scatter services. No mandatory site visit was required for this procurement. The project performance period runs from September 21, 2026, through December 11, 2026. The memo announces the Division's intent to award a contract to the lowest total cost responsive and responsible vendor based on evaluation criteria stated in the solicitation. The awarded vendor's identity is provided in accompanying award documentation available on the public site under Supporting Documentation.
The memo emphasizes that no work may commence, materials may be purchased, or subcontracts entered into until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute a contract or purchase order. Receipt of the award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only an executed PO or signed contract creates a binding agreement. Vendors must guarantee their pricing through project completion. Any protests of the award decision must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer within seven days of this notice, clearly identifying the solicitation and detailing the nature of the protest. Vendors will be contacted via phone or email regarding next steps.
