About this file

This is an Addendum issued by the Incorporated County of Los Alamos Procurement Division for Solicitation No. RFP26-05 seeking Tourism Marketing Services. The solicitation submission deadline has been extended to August 5, 2025, at 2 P.M. MDT, with the County anticipating a three-year contract term. The scope of services includes onsite support for events and potential in-person attendance at Lodgers Tax Advisory Board meetings, indicating a preference for agencies with local or regional capabilities to provide comprehensive marketing support.

The current budget appropriation for fiscal year 2026 is $132,500.00, though the County reserves the right to modify this amount and award the contract to the proposal best meeting their needs. The County is open to various agencies, including potentially international firms, but emphasizes the importance of having the capacity to provide local support. There is currently an existing contract for these services, and any qualified firm may respond to the request for proposal. The addendum includes clarifications on the Cost Proposal Worksheet and provides answers to potential offerors' questions about the solicitation requirements and expectations.

Modification and/or Question Answers

1 Notice to all potential Offerors, the submission deadline has been extended to August 5, 2025 2 P.M. MDT.

2 The title of the Cost Proposal Worksheet has been corrected to 26-05.

What the budget is for this work? The current budget appropriation for FY26 is $132,500.00. The County reserves the right to modify this amount at any time for any reason and to award a contract to an Offeror whose proposal best meets the County’s need, regardless of the amount stated in this Addendum.

Does the County have a local preference or are you open to a Canadian agency that has done similar work with clients across the United States?

The scope of services does include onsite support for a number of events and the potential to attend some of the Lodgers Tax Advisory Board meetings in person instead of virtually. An out-of-state agency would need to have the capacity to provide the desired support.

4 Do you have an incumbent and would they be participating in this RFP

There is currently a contract in place for these services and any qualified firm may respond.

5 Could we request an extension to the submission deadline?

Yes, see the updated submission deadline provided in number 1 above.

Would a contract stemming from this tendering process be for a year or would it be a multi-year contract?

As stated in the RFP document, the County anticipates a three (3) year term as a result of this solicitation.
