About this file

This document is a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for Crafco Techcrete Products, issued by Crafco, Inc., a manufacturer located in Chandler, Arizona. The safety data sheet provides comprehensive information about the chemical composition, hazards, handling, and regulatory details of the product, which is designed for pavement patching applications. The document is version 04, last revised on 05-08-2020, and complies with various federal and state regulations, including OSHA, SARA, and California Proposition 65.

The Crafco Techcrete Products are a granular, grey solid composed of multiple chemical components including feldspar (20-40%), calcium carbonate (5-15%), petroleum hydrocarbon resin (5-15%), quartz (5-15%), and trace amounts of Portland cement. The product is not classified as hazardous and is primarily used for pavement repair and maintenance. While the document does not specify contract pricing or procurement details, it provides critical safety information for handling, storage, and potential health risks, noting that the product contains crystalline silica, which is known to the State of California as a cancer-causing substance. The safety data sheet is intended to guide safe usage across various jurisdictions and industrial applications.

4. First-aid measures

If breathing is difficult, remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Induce artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or other proper respiratory medical device. Get medical attention, if needed.

Inhalation

Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists. Wash clothing separately before reuse.

Skin contact

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If a contact lens is present, DO NOT delay irrigation or attempt to remove the lens. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.

Eye contact

Rinse mouth thoroughly. Do not induce vomiting without advice from poison control center. If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach content doesn't get into the lungs. Induce artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or other proper respiratory medical device. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

Ingestion

Not available. Most important symptoms/effects, acute and delayed

Symptoms may be delayed.Indication of immediate medical attention and special treatment needed

If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
