About this file

This is a Measurement and Payment document for the City of Woodland Park's Browning Street Improvements project in Colorado. The project involves road reconstruction on Browning Avenue from Highway 24 to the dead end at the top of the hill, spanning approximately 1,100 square yards. The scope includes installing 4-inch thick asphalt, 6,300 square yards of 1.5" mill and overlay, 700 linear feet of curb and gutter, and reconstructing 9 ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps. The work will also include various ancillary tasks such as erosion control, traffic control, mobilization, and potential minor contract revisions.

The document provides detailed measurement and payment specifications for each bid item, with pricing determined by actual quantities of work completed and accepted by the project engineer. Payment will be made based on unit prices for specific tasks like removal of existing pavement, concrete and asphalt work, sidewalk and curb ramp construction, and traffic control. The contract includes provisions for partial payments, particularly for erosion control, with monthly payments based on the amount of work completed. The city reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope of work and retains flexibility in project execution while maintaining strict measurement and quality standards for the infrastructure improvements.
