About this IDV
GSA's Federal Acquisition Service issued a Federal Supply Schedule contract to Jay Shapiro & Associates, Inc. under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) on March 3, 2009, with a ceiling value of $2 million and an ultimate completion date of March 2, 2029.
The contractor is approved under SIN 871—construction and project management services. The active GSA Schedule labor portfolio includes 10 categories spanning hourly rates from $74.00 to $210.00. Education requirements range from associate degree (for Project Administrator roles at the low end) to bachelor's degree (for mid- and senior-level positions including General Inspector, Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Senior Cost Estimator, and Contract Executive / CM Program Manager roles). No security-cleared positions are offered. Experience prerequisites increase with seniority, from one year for entry-level administrative roles to twelve years for contract executive and program management positions.
Recent significant delivery order activity under this schedule includes a $2.753 million order issued March 2, 2023 for rehabilitation and modernization work at the Statue of Liberty National Monument, including terreplein rehabilitation at Fort Wood, exterior component repairs to the main immigration building, and relocation of ferry embarkation and security screening operations in Battery Park, with completion scheduled for June 25, 2026.
