The Township of Winslow is soliciting bids for replacement and upgrade of the existing Well No. 7 High Service Booster Pump and associated motor rehabilitation, located at 344A Berlin Cross Keys Road, Winslow, New Jersey, with bids due August 19, 2026. All work must be performed by a New Jersey Licensed Well Pump Installer in accordance with NJDEP requirements — a binding qualification filter. All materials in direct contact with potable water must be NSF-61 certified.

The scope includes removal of the existing motor, pump, and column assembly; installation of a new high service pump with epoxy-coated column pipe, pump bowl, and check valves; replacement of the vertically mounted electric motor; replacement of the discharge head to match existing conditions; and completion of a one-hour performance test verifying pump curve, performance, and efficiency. The contractor must supply all removal equipment (hoists, scaffolding, cranes, and related apparatus), obtain all required building permits, perform disinfection and coliform bacteria testing with certified laboratory analysis, and integrate new elements with the SCADA system including installation of a new transfer switch for the booster pumps. The treatment plant must remain operational during construction with no more than one high service pump offline at any time. The contractor is responsible for all temporary potable water and power, site safety, material protection, and storage arrangements.

Bid pricing is lump-sum with mobilization payable in full after 10 percent of total project cost completion. Payment applications follow AIA Documents G702 and G703. The contractor must submit pump curves, motor specifications, column and bowl assemblies, televising videos, test yield results, proposed site layout and operation plans, and redevelopment chemicals within fifteen days of contract execution, with resubmittals subject to the same timeline. Substantial completion requires punch list management, final system startup and testing under manufacturer inspection, and final completion certifications.
