Proposal guaranty checks for all bidders except the two lowest responsible bidders will be returned after proposals are checked and tabulated; the two lowest responsible bidders' checks will be returned after contract execution and approval. The successful bidder must provide both a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each in the total amount of the contract sum. All workers must be paid in accordance with prevailing wage rates for DuPage County as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, including rates for legal holidays and overtime work.
Contract documents are available by contacting the City of Elmhurst Public Works at (630) 530-3753 or Barbara.Petrucci@elmhurst.org. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk at Elmhurst City Hall by 10:00 a.m. CDT on September 1, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The City reserves the right to waive technicalities and reject any or all proposals.
