The maximum aggregate contract value is $150,000 with no guaranteed minimum work. Contract performance runs from October 15, 2026, through October 14, 2027, with no renewal options. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder based on evaluated bid price, which comprises labor rates for master electricians, journeyman electricians, and apprentices at regular, overtime, weekend, and holiday rates; emergency call-out fees; and material and equipment markups applied to estimated costs of $20,000 and $2,000, respectively.

Bidders must hold a current Massachusetts Master Electrician license, maintain commercial general liability insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate), automobile liability insurance ($1,000,000 combined single limit), and workers' compensation insurance. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of commercial, institutional, or public-building electrical contracting experience and satisfy OSHA safety certification for all field employees. A 5% bid deposit is required, and the successful bidder must furnish a payment bond of at least 50% of the contract maximum within 10 days of award. Questions are due September 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. An optional site visit is scheduled for September 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Award is anticipated for October 1, 2026.
