About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes for Palo Alto firewall equipment with quotes due June 9, 2026 through the PHLContracts portal. The procurement is governed by Office Automation Form B2627325 and is subject to the Data Protection Agreement (DPA) terms and conditions.
The scope covers firewall equipment and related IT appliances. All deliveries must be inside deliveries to a loading dock; the vendor must provide and cost installation and configuration services unless otherwise directed. Vendor-provided product literature and instruction are required. The city will not accept refurbished equipment.
Warranty requirements specify a minimum five-year coverage period for IT appliances, with coverage commencing after a 30 to 120-day acceptance period. Original equipment manufacturer warranty periods apply to all peripherals. On-site maintenance is required with next-day response capability (within 24 hours) including all parts and labor. Vendors may offer either three-year or five-year maintenance and labor agreements; maintenance payment is due after equipment delivery and city acceptance.
Vendors must submit quotes through the PHLContracts portal, completing all required tabs sequentially, providing itemized unit costs and optional discounts for each item, responding to all mandatory questions, and uploading all required documentation and product literature. Vendors must operate in the Seller role (not Seller Admin) and resolve all validation warnings before submission. Incomplete quotes may be saved to the Working section for later completion. Vendors should confirm their understanding of installation, configuration, and maintenance requirements specific to the office automation offering before submitting.
